As a caretaker of farm animals living in Kansas..
Summer Bodies really are made in the Winter.
The last week has been a test of strength & stamina taking on Mother Nature. We are blessed to live where we have 4 seasons… and know if we give it some time the weather will change.

4 wheel drive vehicles are NOT optional
Keep a shovel with you. 4 wheel drive helps but still gets stuck.

Don’t expect animals (or people) to go into snow deeper than their hips.

Hot water is not optional.

Salt Water in a Milk Jug does NO GOOD in sub zero temps.

When there is a thick layer of ice underneath, walking in snow is a better option, than completely cleared away snow.

Guineas take time to adjust going in, once they do they are not too proud to cozy up with the farm cats & baby goats!

After a few day’s the path’s develop and get wider daily.

Hydrate with electrolytes. (So thankful I keep a back stock of Hydrate+)
There’s no mistakes in Life… only lesson’s and those lessons will be repeated until they are learned.
